    linear charge density= charge/length=Q/L

    Charge Q is spread in rod of length L so we are gonna apply unitary method as L --- Q dx --- (Q/L) dx here Q/L is linear charge density. when we multiply with dx we get the total charge in dx portion. after which we integrate to get our desired result. :)
